STEAM Summer Event Guest Instructor Recruitment
(For Elementary Students)
| Overview | We are excited to host a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) learning summer event from July 22 (Tue) to July 25 (Fri), 2025. We are currently recruiting guest instructors for each subject to lead hands-on, beginner-friendly lessons in English for elementary school students (Grades 1–6). | Position | Guest Instructor in one of the following STEAM fields: ・Science ・Technology (Programming) ・Engineering ・Art |
| Event Dates | July 22 (Tue) – July 25 (Fri), 2025 10:00-11:30 You may participate on one or multiple days. Please indicate your availability. |
| Target Audience | Elementary school students (Grades 1–6) max 6students per class |
| Role Description | Instructors will lead one 90-minute hands-on lesson in one of the following areas. All lessons should be designed for beginners. ① Science Simple and fun experiments to introduce basic physics. ② Technology (Programming) Beginner-friendly lessons using visual programming tools such as Scratch. ③ Engineering Creative building activities using paper, blocks, or everyday materials (e.g., bridge-building or tower-building challenges). ④ Art STEAM-themed art projects such as digital art, design, or hands-on crafts. |
| Requirements | ・Enjoy working with children ・Basic knowledge and experience in the selected subject (Teaching experience is a plus, but not required) ・Ability to plan and prepare your own lesson (Planning support is available) |
| Location | Voyage English School 大阪府高槻市五領町11-14 (11−14 Goryo, Takatsuki,Osaka) |
| Compensation | From ¥7,000 to ¥10,000 per 90-minute lesson plus your preparation time （Depending on your skills) |
